Overview
Changing the Minecraft world seed generates a completely new world with different terrain, biomes, and structures. For players who have exhausted the resources or finished building in their current world, updating the seed offers a refreshing new experience. Additionally, world seeds can be shared with others to recreate the same initial world layout. However, only the untouched map layout is shared—any built structures or player progress will not carry over.

Changing the world seed requires generating a new world.
1. Log in to the control panel.
2. Stop the server.
3. Go to properties under Configuration from the left sidebar.
4. Locate the Level Seed section and input the desired World Seed.
5. Next, navigate to the Level Name section and Change the name to generate a new world.
6. Start the server.
